How do I  make a referral?

-Written or verbal referral to SAP member from teacher, student, parent, guardian, etc.

 

What happens after a student is referred?

-The parent/guardian is notified and parent permission is requested. The student then meets with the case manager and eventually is evaluated by the drug and alcohol liason. Student participation is voluntary.

 

What services are offered?

-Smoking Cessation
-Anger Management
-Educational Sessions
-Monitoring of student
-Academic and Emotional Support/Updates
-Referral to outside specialist agencies
